LEARNING FOR LIFE
School-Based.... is a curriculum based program for kindergarten through twelfth grade students and is designed to support schools and community-based organizations in their efforts to prepare youth to successfully handle the complexities of contemporary society and to enhance their self-confidence, motivation, and self-esteem.
Learning for Life also helps students develop social skills, assists in character development, and helps them formulate positive personal values. It prepares students to make ethical decisions that will help them achieve their full potential. Learning for Life enhances teacher capacity and increases student learning. We are proud to say that we are presently serving 56,000 young men and women in 2008 – 2009 School Year.
LEARNING FOR LIFE
Career-Based….is a part of the Learning for Life career education program for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed the eight grade) or 15 through 20 years of age. Exploring exists to accomplish three major goals. First, to provide for structure and resources needed to learn about career opportunities; second, to make ethical choices; and third, to achieve their full potential as individuals. We are currently serving 1,400 young men and women in the 2008 - 2009 School Year.
